A card, with a Moan and a Groan thrown in.. :P

good morning, wow it has been little while since i posted on my blog. It isn’t for the want of it as i have had cards ready to post.. My screen to my computer decided to give up… we thought that it might have been the graphics card but it wasn’t thank goodness… i could see hubby’s eyes rolling.. hehe..
any way

I have a Christmas card to show on here today….  this is the first time that i have used this stamp… hehe.. i really am going to have to go through all my rubbah and sort them out big time.. me thinks.. hehe.

I have used a couple of the Magnolia dohickey dies on this card… the fence and the very talked about (not for good reasons) doily die… well the doily die i thought was a huge disappointment.. the idea behind is fantastic,but the quality of the cut is how can i put it… crap! this is only because you have to turn the whole thing upside down and match it up, so it makes half your cut inside out.. if you get what  i mean.. plus if you do it on card stock you get nasty indents where the die has been joined… not a good look.. well moan over… (I just wish that they had made it one complete die.. it would have been amazing then) I have managed to make the die look half decent by using thinner paper to cut the pattern out .. all the points that i have mentioned above don’t notice as much.. i know that they are there and they annoy the life out of me…. but i love the idea of this doily die so much that i will put up with it.. …but with all that said.. it is only my opinion.. 
The papers that i have used are also by Magnolia and the little tag sentiment is from stamping all day. i have had these sentiments for an age now.. well before i started blogging.. :)

 i have also used a few spellbinders die’s on this card aswell. the inside of the card is just a copy of the layout that i have used on the front..
The snowflakes have been created using a combination of my cricut accent essential cart and a Martha Stewart snowflake punch.
