A creation by Ben.xx

I didn’t have chance to make a card for today but I have got something to share with you.

This is  a tag that my Youngest son made… (he is saying that i need to insert sexy here…rofl… ) he is 16!! boys… lol

anyway he was bored and asked what he could do so i suggested he make a card or a tag… and this is what he made….

I thought that he did an awesome job…  he made the flower himself using some of my punches.

and the stamps are various ones that he found in my stash….

Truly scrumptiousJust Magnolia & stampavie and more

good morning.. hope that you are well.

I needed to make a card yesterday for one of Hollie’s friends, (my second daughter) Happy Birthday Amy.xxxxx

I  thought that i would combine it with a couple of challenges.

Truly Scrumptious….sketch with…. hidden message

Stampavie and more….. distressing

Just Magnolia….. anything goes

this is the card i made using one of my new magnolia images. I was going to use this image with the out of bounds nestie technique, but me being me forgot and it wasn’t until i had cut the image to size realised that i had a floating Tilda… rofl…. i then thought that i could thread some ribbon through to make it look like Tilda was sitting on it… phew. think that i  pulled it off…lol.

i used some of the new magnolia once upon a time papers for this card… and my tim holtz die came in handy also.. along with some grunge paper.

Tilda has been coloured using the following sketch markers.

This is what the tag looks like out of it’s hiding place… sentiment is computer generated.

The flowers are from wild orchid crafts…

thank you for dropping by, enjoy your day.. i am off to the chiropractors again today… and the next day… i have a tilted pelvis (had it for 19years….) and it is starting to play on my neck… haha you should have seen the xrays… talk about wonkey spine.. but they say that they can put it all right for me.. but need a few weeks of intensive work at first.. so for the next four weeks i am gong to be spendin 3days out of the week having my spine malipulated back to where it should be…

Free Hugs...:)

Hiya

I recently came across some fantastic digi images that have been designed by Meljen designs….well i just had to purchase myself some of these sweeties…. it would have been rude of me not too now, wouldn’t it…. hehe.

This card is made using one of the images that i bought…cute isn’t she…? well she is called little girl bearhugs… how cute!

Seeing as i have used a lot of Red in this card i think that i will be able to take part in the challenge Ruby Ruby Ruby… over at My time to craft…. they want to see Red on your card.. also i used some dimensional dots to raise both the main image and the free hugs sentiment ( Cornish heritage farm) so am also going to take part in the A spoon full of sugar Challenge this week where they are asking for 3D.

Thanks for the challenges girls… :)

Little girl bear hugs has been coloured with copics….. again..

Sweet Hanglar & STanglar girl..

I made this card a little while ago now, and just havn’t posted it yet….so thought that i would share it with you today.. :)

It is a pretty simple layout. using T!m holtz vintage shabby pad, which i have used some distress crackle paint on… the edges i have ruffed up with my distress tool. the paper doily is what i have had for an age in my draw, i bought it at a hobby show an age ago now!! both the sentiment and the image is Hanglar & Stanglar and is coloured with copic sketch markers.

Fairy Happy Birthday

There is lush sketch this week over at Creative Inspirations, i just had to play along.. i have also managed to make this card fit in with another three challenges which are A spoon full of sugar.. (Happy Birthday) Simon says (Things with wings) and Stampavie and more (Lace and button)..

for my card i have used no distress inks at all…. shock and horror..  nearly killed me.. haha.. but instead i have just distressed the edges. I was going to sew on this card but.. forgot.. how daft is that, i just got carried away sticking it all together before i realized..

These lush papers are by my minds eye called wild asparagus  and the sweet image is one of the gorjuss girls from sugar nellie. I added a doily and som lace which i found in my stash and then dded a little button to the sentiment to dot the i.. hehe.. to finish off i added some black pearl swirls from prima.

I am really pleased with how this card turned out..

thank you for visiting me today.

A boy and his best friend.

This card kinda didn’t turn out as i had hoped… it was obvious it wasn’t going to work but hey… lol..

I originally wanted to play along with 2 sketches 4 you following their sketch by Laura.. .. then i went on to think that i could squeeze the elements onto a square card….this didn’t work as you will see.

I enjoyed making the card though and actually it didn’t take that long.. :) I used  a greeting farm image called oliver and Amelia buddies set  these are adorable sets and come with fabby sentiments.. I have used my pink paislee papers 365 degrees (can’t find the sign on the keyboard hehe) I coloured Oliver in with copic sketch markers.

you warm my heart! papertake weekly sketch by Dawny P

Helloo. :)

Dawny has designed a fantastic sketch over at papertake weekly.. so i just had to join in.. :)

i have used one of my sweet little Hanglar images for this card, isn’t he just adorable..

omg… i have just noticed that my sticky note is showing that is stuck to the back of my card… holds all the information on what i used.. colours papers etc.. my brain is a sieve and this is the only way that i remember.. rofl.. what a numskull!! (maybe i  need to stick a note on the camera to say to remove post it note from back of card before photographing… )

These papers that i used are by  making memories and are called just chillin, i have had them an age just skulking in my cupboards….. now it’s time to come out and play.. :) i went round all the edges with my tim holtz distress tool and then on some papers i useed my sewing machine..  the little heart on the top is a makin memories too.. i just punched some holes in it to make it look like a button and then threaded some stuff through.. and finally gluing it to a bit of ribbon i had in my stash.

I have coloured the sweet Hanglar in with copic sketch markers.. colours are:

I have been itching to use this adorable little mouse Henry.. from whiff of joy stamps… who is so poorly… bless him. isn’t he the most adorable creature eva!! this stamp is one of the ones that my dear friend Katharina gave me  at the BSSS in London..

anyway i found this sketch over at the everybody Art challenge blog and knew that it would work with this sweet little Henry image perfectly..

who of course is an animal which means that i can also enter into the stamp with fun challenge this week as they want animals.. perfect!

Hannah and friends are asking for get well soon..

I got out my pinkpaislee pad queen bee which i bought from the hobby house. (there is a link in my crafty stash links in my sidebar) thank you Bev for steering me towards these beauties… just wish that i had bought more now.. they are delish…

for my scalloped edge i have used a Martha Stewart deep edge punch… i just loooove these punches they are delish :)

i have used the flower tutorial again by Ranita, which you can find over at the whiff of joy tutorial and inspiration blog..  I sprayed the white papers with copic sketch pens that i had used to colour in Henry’s blanket so that the colours would all tie in together….  the paw brads are what i have had an age.. forgot that i had them to be honest.. a bit of twine here and there and a fabby sentiment perfect for the occasion which i bought (along with others) from whimsy stamps.. they are a digi download so you get them straight away…. lovely jubley..

like i have already said Henry has been coloured using copic sketch markers which are as follows.

I just loved Bev’s sketch this week over at the whiff of joy challenge blog.. lush! thank you babes..

Been playing around in photoshop making a frame for my photo… not too sure, but on the other hand i don’t like the plain piccies… mmmmm. we’ll see.

For my card i have used one of the knome images by Norma Fickel called…strawberry girl… from whiff of joy stamps.

which i coloured using copic markers.

Papers that i used are from the paper pad pinkpaislee 365 which i bought at the hobby house stand at ally pally.

Have you seen the flower tutorial over at the whiff of joy inspirations blog by Ranita. i just loved the look of the flowers so made one following Ranita’s tutorial and that is the one that is on my card.. the others on either side are bought from wild orchid crafts… I have spritz all the flowers with glimmer mist and added some stickles as well… :)

i ruffed up the edges of my papers with the tim holtz distressing tool and added some self adhesive gems here and there.

The sentiment is Hanglar & Stanglar.

oh my word i can’t concentrate on this post…  i have the kids in the background Ben moaning cause he doesn’t want to walk the dog.. hollie is singing at the top of her voice…(like an angel of course)  aghrrr… lol… Mad house springs to mind…… love it though.. oh and now the dog is joining in….. haha… bliss… (i am writing this Wed afternoon/evening…. just incase you think that i have all this going on first thing in the morning…. that is a totally different story.. but just as mad ! haha)

note to self must stop surfing the net and get stuff done… yeah right like that is going to happen…

I have a card to show today that isn’t red!!! i think that i have thing for reds at the moment, i just keep leaning toward that colour… so for a change today we have blues and greens..yay!!

and my subject is this fabby image from the whiff of joy stamps store stamp kit..Aladdin 1001 nights……. here is a link to the shops that are stocking this set….  i have also added the treasure chest with the main image…

I seem to be going through a bit of a minimal phase at the moment… lol… i can’t win i either do over load or under load… i am sure that it won’t be long till i am putting the embellishments and flowers  back on my cards,, but for now i am enjoying the simple and clean look..lol..

Chrisma Cards & whats on your workdesk wednesday

I saw the challenge over at Chrisma Cards was Monochromatic.… i love monochromatic….. everything always looks harmonious… lush… my only thing was what image to use….mmmmmm.. desicion made.

I fell in love with this digi image from Mo’s as soon as i saw it.. well to be honest i think that i fall in love every time i see a new image of mo’s …. that is one super talented lady… cute but not too cute that it is classed as childish… sweet elegant and cute all wrapped in one neat package…

This beauty that i have used is called Mother to be 1.. simple as that..to be honest i don’t think that she has much longer to go … ;)

I have used the delish papers again from the T!m Holtz vintage shabby pad. lush don’t you think… i have 5 pads of these babies so you are going to see a lot of cards made with these papers. :P

I kept the card to a minimum as i think that these images speak volumes on their own… but i have used some organza ribbon with bow, made using the bow easy and then i have added the sentiments happyness joy & love, from whiff of joy.. these i have then punched out using a stampin up word window punch….. with a few flowers from wild orchid crafts that is my total embellishments for this card. except for the sewing… would you class that as an embellishment…. ???anyways.

for the image i have used all the W’s haha….

W……1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9

apart from the skin which is

E00/01/11/13 and R20 for the blush.

woyww.

a big mess is the answer to what is on my work desk…  haha. As you can see i didn’t clean up yesterday… instead i just went to bed and left my destruction where it lay… haha.. ah well i guess that i am going to be cleaning it up today.. i have stood back this week as i was asked to last week.. does that make sense..??  I have been making envelopes for my cards. how exciting!! :) I have been suffering with my neck a lot this week hence the pain killers.. and the springing looking thing by the printer is what my daughter made for me.. it says i love you on it.. she is so adorable and such a loving little girl..xx egg cup??? haha. no i haven’t been eating boiled eggs in there, that is my make shift candle holder for a votive candle.. i couldn’t find mine so used hollie’s egg cup instead…. it worked.  the ball thing is my hair wax.. i keep it there other wise the boys use it all and i am left with zilch… boys!!!

right  then off to tidy up..

have a great day.. why not join in and show us what you have on your desk today..

I coloured big guy golfing with copic sketch markers. the colours that i used are

Lili of the Valley, Stampavie & more & Cute Card Thursday

This is the card that i have made that fits in with three challenges,

I have used the papers from the basic grey pad Marrakech … much to Ben’s (my son) disapproval…. all he kept saying was errrrrr i don’t like that mum…. he kept going on and on and on…. arghhh, nothing like a confidence blocker..ha…but i kept on… using some craft paper i added a shape cut from on of the T!m Holtz dies.. and then ran it through a cuttlebug embossing folder. I did the same with the sweet little ticket die at the bottom  as well… cute

in my quest to cover the a paper (because it had now become my mission as i too didn’t like the look of the papers) i used some pretty raffia lace along the bottom held on with a fastenater bar. and some flowers from prima held together with some gorgeous metal work and pearl brads which are from the hobby house… i even managed to add a sweet little butterfly charm.

I am not sure of the colours that i used for this sweet lily of the vally image, as yet again it was one that i had coloured while trying to find my mojo… :)

All in all this card turned out ok… Ben was impressed with the end result…:) so that’s good.

hope you enjoy the rest of your day…

Truly scrumptious

Good Morning to you all.. *waving*

I have made a card today using the stamp buzzy friends hop-it bumble. by house mouse designs inc. Would you believe that i have had this stamp  well over a year and this is the first time that i have inked it up!!! Hollie used it when i first got it and that is the only time this baby has seen ink…. i am embarrassed!!

I followed the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious this week which also comes with the optional extra of April showers.……..which i didn’t go with.. .

The papers that i went with are what i bought from Ally Pally at the hobby house stand these are by pinkpaislee and the pad is  called queen bee. I have used a T!m Holtz slight alterations stamp around the edge of my image which i then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. think that i was going for a honeycomb look… haha… don’t think that i even got near, but i do like the effect…. rofl.

I used a prima flower, and added some ribbon as my leaves… don’t ask! the gauze down the side is raffia lace.
This is one of my images where i don’t know the colours that i used… it has been stashed away in my folder….

I hope that you have had a lovely weekend and are all refuelled to take on the week ahead… :)

five Challenges... ccc mt2c and ptw...&. WoJ along with ABC challenge

Good morning …lol. have i confused you?

me and my shortened versions of the challenge names.. :P

I have managed to squeeze three different challenges into my one card today and they are

  1. Creative Card Crew with the theme of Happy Birthday
  2. My Time 2 Craft with the theme, of Pearl
  3. Papertake Weekly with the them of Cute

If it’s  not allowed to combine, just ignore my entry, i understand… thank you for the inspiration for my card though….xx

and here is the card… tadaaa. rofl.. sorry i am in funny mood…lol.

right.. papers.. are from my minds eye called life stories and is the green plaid, these are beautiful papers.i have done my usual distressing around the edges of my papers, it just doesn’t look right to me if i don’t almost like my card is naked! and isn’t finished, but i love the clean look when you don’t distress the edges too… haha.

the layout is pretty simple (bit like me) and i have used a cuttlebug embossing folder on one of the pieces after i stamped on the magnolia happy birthday sentiment, debossed i think is the right expression though i may be wrong…

I have popped the today tag behind my magnolia image… this came with the mme paper pack.. to this i have added a row of pearls… pretty.

the little froggy sat above the image has been cut using a quickutz die…

copics..

Woj along with ABC Challenge

This is a card that i have made using one of the Norma Fickel stamps called mother and child from whiff of joy stamps. They are just adorable… and can be used for a few different occasions.. including for sister, Auntie as well as Mother…..how versatile is that!

because of the colour combo and image i can enter this in the whiff of joy’s challenge blog this week as their theme is Green Yellow and a colour of your choice. mine is blue.. :) these papers are some stampin up papers that i found in my draw. I have left the main image base large so that i could use my Martha Stewart deep edge punch along one side.

(I added some stickles glitter to the punched out design and added a self adhesive gem, meaning that i can also enter this card into the ABC challenge who this week would like to see sparkle on your card.) I also used my airbrush system to add the edge to the papers instead of my distress inks that i usually use. .. the edges of some of the papers i have also decided to run through my sewing machine, i just love the look of sewn cards.. I added some tulle along the edge of my card finishing it with a tulle bow a yellow button and some crafters floss. To finish this card off i added the sentiment My heart belongs to you by hAnglar & stAnglar.

Copic colours used.

Mo's digital Pencil & Friday Sketchers

What an adorable sketch they have this week over at Friday sketchers, loved it and was a dream when i combined it with an image by MO’s digital pencil that i had coloured up a while ago.

I thought that this sweet miss muffet image would make a brilliant be brave card, maybe for a special someone nervous about a operation, or awaiting some news… ?

anyway this is the card that i came up with for this using the wonderful sketch. the papers are by stampin up and have been edged with distress inks. the flowers and the gem swirls are prima marketing, i added a button and a pin to the flower for a little more interest, (not sure of the make of the pin I have had them floating in my stash for a while now.. ) a tied a knot of floss through the button.  ribbon is from my stash also, i made the triple bow by using the bow easy… have i said how much i love this little plastic tool? hehe.

the ticket on the right is what i cut using my T!m holtz die… oh boy i love this die… it cuts them out all connected but they have perforations like a real ticket which you can just tear…. i am in love… i could just cut and tear these out all day…. i am easily pleased,. The sentiment stamp that i used this time is from Maya Road. oh and the be brave has been computer generated… i added it before printing out the Miss Muffet image from Mo’s digital pencil.

After colouring i have added some liquid pearls and some stickles to the image for dimension.

.. hugs Rachxx

A spoon full of sugar, with a new Norma Fickel image

Nikki over at a spoon full of sugar has a lovely sketch for us to follow this week.

Here is my version of the sketch.

I have used one of the lovely new images from whiff of joy illustrated by Norma Fickel.. I am not sure if these are on sale yet, as this one came from the whiff of joy stall which was at Ally Pally in london, along with a few others that came home with me… thank you Katharina.x

Beleive it or not these papers from fancy pants are from a Christmas range called Christmas Magic. :)

I Have added a grunge heart which i firstly covered in distress paint.. picket fence and then rubbed some distress ink onto it.. finished with a bit of self adhesive bling. the ticket has been made using one of the new Tim Holtz dies and then stamp on using another of Tims products… I used the ms border punch along the center panel and added some raffia lace to this.

copic colours that i used to colour in the image is

Just Magnolia

Good morning, hope that you are all well.

I have made this card for the Just magnolia challenge blog where the challenge this week is Punch it out

and here is my card, i have used two Martha Stewart punches for this one, again i am hopeless at the names of these things... rofl.. is there any hope for me at all...  the first is the band across the middle and the second one is the happy birthday one, which i just punched out once instead of going all the way across a piece of paper..

these papers that i have used are from my T!m Holtz vintage shabby pad... . the swirl is from the T!m Holtz swirl die i first stuck some of the vintage shabby paper onto some grunge paper before cutting it out with the die.. love the effect and dimension it gives, I'll be doing a few of these i can see.

On the magnolia image i tried the dotty technique that Crissy has shown on one of her you tube video's...  i am not too good at it but love the effect it gives, thank you Crissy.

I used stickles to go around the edge of my papers and also used a diamante brad which i bought from the hobby house.

copic colours that i used to colour the Magnolia image are

Cute Card Thursday and Charisma Cardz

I managed to make this card from an image that i had already coloured up and was hiding in my coloured image folder... it works perfectly for this weeks challenge over at Cute Card Thursday which is Mono Mania.

I have used the papers from the bitter sweet paper pad by basic grey for this one. i have gone round the edges of the papers with my usual touch of distress inks, and some stickles glue for added sparkle. I even managed to use my thank you embossing folder on this card, so this can also be entered into the Charisma Cardz challege this week which is... you guessed it Thank you.... :)

I added some lace which i I can't remember where i bought it.... and a swirl that has been cut from one of my new T!m Holtz dies... loving these at the mo... i used the ticket one the other day messing around... one word...love!!! i can see i'll be using that one alot.... :)

The sweet old fashioned looking image is a Penny black.. i don't know what it is called as there is no name on the block!? sorry..

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. We (Paul and I) went up to Ally Pally on the Saturday...It was all a little last minute I  didn't buy very much but it was wonderful to say hello and meet up with my buddies Bev and Jacqui, Marlene and the quiet Caz...haha.... and so brilliant to meet in person the lovely lovely Katharina and Marcel from Whiff of Joy.. what lovely people they are, thank you for my goodies Katharina... mwah..  I saw a few other blogging buddies on my travels around... **waving**.

We saw Aaron back off Safe and sound back to the plane after his two week leave, it was lovely to have him home, though the beginning of the two weeks was like living in a nightmare as he started his journey home... with his brother Tom from Scotland... (Tom flew up on the night before to keep Aaron company on the drive home) and within 20 mins of them leaving I get a phone call from Aaron saying that they had had an accident, where Aaron's car has since been written off. Both boys were unhurt (thank goodness) and no-one else was involved. but what a drama, scared the living daylights out of me.. nothing worse than not being able to do anything... all i could think was what if!!! well they eventually got back here at 10:30pm (after originally starting their journey at 7am) that night and £500.00 lighter in the wallet. after traveling all day on the trains... Aaron says he won't be travelling by train for that distance again... lol... bless.

Papertake weekly

have a delish sketch to follow that has been designed by the lovely Dawny p.

I needed to make a card for a lovely lady that hasn't been feeling too well lately. even though she has been so poorly she still managed to send me a most beautiful card.. thank you sweetie, i really appreciated it xx (she knows who she  is)

know i have said in previous posts about my picture taking at the mo... it is driving me insane!!!! grrrr, so i have added one picture of the card in the window and another one that i took in the photo tent.. i really think that i need to start reading those photography books that i bought a while back...... *sigh*

This is the one taken on the sill, now this would work but with our rate of sunshine this isn't going to be practical especially as this room is at the back of the house and it doesn't get much sunlight through the windows... streaming sunlight that is....

This is the same card but taken in the photo tent... ... just doesn't look right to me..(a bit flat) but hey ho..

right then.. onto the stuff that i used, again this is a imge that i coloured a while ago and stuck in my folder for future cards. without copic colours added. sorry.

the papers that i used are by basicgrey and are from the Ambrosia 6x6 paper pad. I chose them because of the butterflies. talking of which the embossed metal butterfly's that i have used on this card are by making memories, i got a real bargain with these from my local shop as there was a whole bundle of them (pack of 6) for sale for just £2.99, so i whipped those into my basket.. :) and i am glad that i did....

I have used a Martha Stewart punch for both the branches and the doily strips. the flowers are from wild orchid crafts, which are delish and great value for money..  the sentiment is a maya road sentiment that i have stamped onto a quickutz tag. other than the odd bit of stickles glue here and there i think thats about it.. except for the image which is a sweetpea stamp.. not sure of which one... i am absolutely hopeless with names.

i made a matching envelope to go with this card again the tag is from a quickutz cookie cutter i think that is what they are called. and the rest of the stuff is the same as what i used on the card... I have been asked by a few about my envelopes.. no they arn't boxes as they open the same as an envelope and i got the template for these from a very clever lady .... you can pop over and get one for yourselves from here... there are a few different style envelopes.. this one that i have used is the basic 6x6. .

Thank you for dropping by and for the lovely comments that i have received.

big hugs Rachxx

Whiff of joy Challenge #74, a sketch by Jane.

Whiff of joy challenge blog

have there new challenge up this week which is a sketch by Jane..and what a fabby one it is... Thank you sweetie, just what i needed to try and get these old mojo juices moving...

not sure why but it is taking me ages.. and i mean an age to make my cards... why??!? lol took me long enough before, but taking even longer now..

I seem to be struggling with pictures as well at the mo, when i use my light tent it doesn't look right since moving down here... mmmmm wonder if it is because i had dayllight tubes in the flourescent lighting in the loft........took this on the window sill in the end with the lamp above the card..... seems ok,, at least it's not washed out.. always a bonus.

I used a few new goodies on this card today... :) My new Tim Holtz vintage shabby papers dropped through the door today along with some other delish goodies.. which i bought from Craft obsessions.... perfect name for me... haha, look at the pic below.. and you'll understand why...

i don't buy in ones, had to get more ... just incase... incase of what i don't know.... major shortage i think.... rofl.. well they will last me a while i suppose.. hehe.

like i said i used some of the papers out of the vintage shabby stack and i also used the flower die on the card along with other flowers that i have bought from wild orchid crafts. The little ticket on the card is what i pinched off of my sons yesterday when they went bowling.. i just knew that they would come in handy....the tickets not the boys... hehe...  after going round the edges of the papers with the sewing machine i then went with some liquid pearls to add some dots here an there, got a bit carried away though. but i still like the end result. I have also added some pearls from prima, that i cut to make fit on the card, punched leaves are made using a martha stewart punch and i also used an embossing folder which i first wiped a ink pad over for contrast on the embossing on one of the panels. oh and some raffia lace...

The image that i have used is charlotte from whiff of joy stamps coloured with copics..

the colours that i used are

E.....0000 / 00 / 01 / 02 / 04 / 11 / 31 / 33 / 35

R..... 20 / 81 / 83 / 85 / 89

Y..... 21 / 23 / 26 /

W........ 1 / 3 / 5  / 7

It's a little quiet round here tonight as Hollie is spending the night at her friends... if you look on the picture above you may notice the little tilda... (minus hair) and another image... these are what Hollie coloured.. i said she could use my copics so she was well happy... well she was until she got to Tilda's hair.. which she said went wrong.... she had cut it off before i could say anything..  you can't see very well but for her first time using copics she got her blending done really well,, far better than when i first started using them... but i won't hold my breath as she gets bored with things so quickly. she says she likes the colouring but doesn't like making them into a card...

anyway, hope that you enjoy the rest of your evening, thank you for dropping by. hugs Rachxxx

One card three challenges..

Good morning,

hope that you have had a fabulous Easter break with family and friends.

I have managed to find three challenges that fit my card for this morning.

Anyone for Anya the theme is anything...

Stampin' for the weekend  the theme is ribbons and bows

A spoon full of sugar the theme is one for the boys...

sorted.. :)

isn't this image a cutie, it is from the greeting farm set called Oliver & Amelia- happy day set.

I went with the easel style of card for this, i just love this style, there are so many fabulous cards over the blog world that have some amazing designs with this style.

the patterned papers that i chose are from the my minds eye range of papers called bloom and grow, I went round the edges of the papers with my sewing machine and added a few papermania self adhesive pearls.

The sentiment stamp is from maya road.

The  little die cut dinosaur is from a quickutz die, i have loads of these but don't seem to use them that much these days... like i used to..

oh and how cool is the bow-easy.... i know i am a bit behind in using this but boy what a cool thing..makes double bows a treat...

for a change i went and decorated the front of the envelope so it matches the card.

I got that idea from the lovely Maddy

and thats it from me ... no copics i am afraid.

hope that you enjoy the rest of your day..
