Star by Kenny K.

This is the second image of the four that i bought the first time round visiting Kenny K’s site..

Yes i did say the first time.. i was being good then… subsiquently i have been back since and bought quite a few more….rofl.. i can’t help myself…

her are the copic colours that i used to colour in the image.

This is called star.. i have gone a bit mad with the hair colour but thought she was shouting for something a bit rock… girly rock though… hehe.. the papers that i have used are from basic grey and are the bittersweet paperpad.. The pink rose is handmade using a sizzix flowers 3d die. The adore ticket is tim holtz the little heart charm is what i bought off of an ebay seller and the leaves are from a martha stewart punch..
I may be a bit here and there with post for the next few weeks, what with the fabulous weather we have been having and trying to get us all sorted for our family holiday 3weeks today!! lots of shopping and organizing… organizing i don’t mind shopping i loath.. (unless it’s for gadgets and crafty stuff.. lol)
hope that you enjoy the rest of your day, thanks for dropping by.

This is my second week as a Guest designer for stamp something challenge blog… thank you for having me girls… xxxx
This week the theme is Vintage with flowers and is being sponsored by
Simon says stamp.

now i got to say.. and appologise to everyone especially the DT girls.. i really have no idea how to achieve Vintage!!! thanks for the pointers Denise, i don’t know what i would have done with out them… hopeless aren’t i… rofl…
I used one of my hAnglar and stAnglar images for this one, after colouring her i cut her out.. (i went a bit wrong on the background…serves me right for trying new things…lol)

I got the flower part right! .. for my flowers i have used a mixture of handmade and bought… the handmade roses, (copper ones) are made using the Sizzix flowers, 3D die. which i cut from plain white card and then sprayed with this fabby stuff called moon glows moon shadow incandescent copper…i bought this from www.lindystampgang.com... love it.. i have bought a few other colours as well….

colours that i used to colour the hAnglar & stAnglar image… here is a link to the ebay shop for all you U.K peeps that would like to own some of these hAnglar & stAnglar beauties.. (their may not be any on there at the moment but keep a eye out for them to list as they go quick.. and i mean quick!!!!

well i guess that i have put off showing my card long enough… please be gentle if you leave a comment…though it doesn’t look very vintagy to me.. i really enjoyed making it.
the papers that i have used are from my minds eye. La Paperie  by Jen wilson, i have gone round the edge with my zutter distrezzer and then with my sewing machine.. the fabby tickets are both a combination of Tim Holtz  Ticket strip and some fantastic stamps from whimsy stamps called whimsy sentiment collection ticket sentiments….oh ***t i just ran over my ruddy big toE with the  wheel on my chair.. ouch!!!!!!! hurt!!!…..Bleeding!!!!…just off to have a yell…… be back in a mo….
rofl…. i am back… toe is throbbing but doesn’t ting as much…. was going to delete the above bit but thought that i would leave as is…. (even though i sound like a nutter)
i am sure that it will be fine by the time this post goes live as i am writing this out in advance… :))))
right then before i was rudely interupted i was going to say the sentiment stamps have been designed by Raindrop Echo Designs other than the lace which is from my stash that is it…
hope that you can join in with the Vintage with flowers theme over at the
stamp something challenge blog..
thanks for having me girls…

Kenny K!! have you seen the new images available? how cool!

good morning… hope that you are all well.. another gorgeous and sunny day here today.. :))puts me in such a good mood.. i have cleaned the house washed the laundry hung it on the line and walked the dog this morning.. came home and finished sticking my card together.
I am loving these new Kenny K images… Donna has been showing a little previews of them for a little while now and i have been dying to get my hands on them… :)) I bought the one that i have used on my card today and a few others from here. I think that there is a request for some challenge dt member for a new challenge blog that is going live soon for these images… check out Donna’s blog for more details. on what you have to do..
i am not entering into the design team call but just wanted to give a shout out to some fantastic images..

I had a ball colouring this sweetie in called download diva.. :)

the picture above shows the copic colours that i used to colour the image in…

here is my finished card using the download diva image.. i have gone for a shabby chic look.. i love the way that Kathy has been adding the paint to the edges of her cards so thought that i would case that idea on my card today… love the effect that it gives, (thank you for the inspiration Kathy honey.. :)) i think that you are going to be seeing alot more of this from me in the future… tis a bit messy and has a bit more waiting time to dry but the end result is well worth it.. I think so anyway..
I have used some papers from the tim holtz vintage shabby pad using the pink and blue/green papers out of the pad.. i was asked the other day what are the main colours in the pad… well there are basically… pink… blue/green…and a pumice brown colour.. i was also asked which colour distress inks would match these papers.. unfortunately life gets in the way of playing sometimes and i haven’t had the time to play with the colour matching..
the shades of the papers vary depending on the design.. with added darker tones here and there.. i can’t explain propery… sorry..
the bliss ticket is another tim holtz product. i have added a couple of prima flowers and some lace from my stash.. finishing off with a few musical notes that i cut out from coredinations cardstock using a quickutz die. and just sanding the edges.
the previews for some new stamps that will soon be available  from whiff of joy stamps will start tomorrow on the whiff of joy design teams blogs, so be sure to look out for the previews of these brilliant stamps..
boy i have rambled on today.. not like me at all.. hope that i haven’t bored you to tears.. enjoy the rest of your day whatever you are doing…

good morning.....I am so so so so excited!!!

hehe.. love it.. good morning to you all . I am super happy today. i booked the tickets yesterday to go and see twilight saga  eclipse… for the 3rd July… i am sooo soo super excited.. I booked tickets for all of us… but Tom doesn’t want to go and see it.. (I kinda new that he wouldn’t want to go but just felt quilty if i didn’t book him a ticket..and i didn’t want him to think that i didn’t think about him…  (he was at work so couldn’t ask him)) so Hollie’s friend is coming with us instead as she love’s twilight too…. got to say though i am so glad that i read the books, cause it fills all the little details in that the films seem to loose…..can’t wait!!!!!!

anyway ..The card that i am showing here today is a New home card that i made using one of the images from the whiff of joy stamps April Stamp kit

Coloured using copic sketch markers… not many this time….

I fancied a bit of a change of style with this card… and i like it… i used one of my sizzix tim holtz embossing folders for the main card base to give some interest.. love this brick effect!! think that i have said that before..hehe..
I have just basically layed the other bits up.. using some craft paper which i pushed through the crimper thingymajig.. a die from spellbinders, raffia lace a little bit of dp by basic grey june bug and a key… (Tim Holtz)
The sentiment is computer generated.
I have tried to get the gold colours but think that i will have to go back to the drawing board…. i popped the stickles on top of the gold colours so that the building would look like it was shimmering in the sun!!! yes i am mad..
Thank you for dropping by and I
hope that you have a fab day …

Wish big.. whiff of joy Dt

good morning… what a beautiful sunny day it is here, certainly makes a change from yesterday… not that i am complaining… lol.

I have a card to show you today that i have made using one of the images from the whiff of joy
April Stamp kit…along with the sentiment

I have used copic markers to colour in the image which i have shown above in the picture.

the papers that i have used are from the my minds eye la paparie paper stack… the same stack that i have up  for grabs in the post above this one.. (well i am hoping that it is above this one.. else it will be below this one.. rofl.. i know what i mean… hahaha)
i have also added a bit of craft paper which i ran through the crimper thing… just for a bit of interest… a few cherry blossom flowers from wild orchid crafts and a little baed thing which i bought from an ebay seller an absolute age ago.. i have a few of these floating around amongst the ample amount of charms that i have.. i am beginning to thing that i have some kind of problem… why can’t i just buy a couple of each instead of 50+ … oh dear!! no wonder they last me so long..
the little pearls are self adhesive and are by papermania. I have added some stickles to her veily thingy on here head and to the sleeves on her top..
thank you for dropping by. hope you have a wonderful day where ever you are..
