my heading is true, i have the most loveliest friends in the world, i am sooo lucky…

I have seen images stamped and coloured onto craft paper, and i love the effect that it gives so i thought that i would give it a whirl…. and i have to say… i will be doing this again in the future… what an awesome effect… :)
I think that i have another addiction coming on in the form of lotv stamps… just how cute are these images and sooooooo easy to colour.. i have a few of these images already but have had my phobia of them…. (same as the penny black phobia… lol) don’t ask.. i am strange….. but i think……… actually i know that i am over that now… love them…  and have you seen the new Christmas releases…. they are too cute.. hasten to say that i have ordered mine and they arrived here super quick and are now mounted on ez and ready to go… hehe…. there is no stopping me… well apart from the two week break to Greece.. on Tuesday…. arghhhhh.. got a lot of finishing off and list crossing off to do today … better get on with this post instead of boring you with my waffle…hehehe..

Willow Sun tanning by whiff of joy stamps

Hiya and welcome.
my card today features three of the new images from the new summer store stamp kit from
whiff of joy stamps
along with two of the sentiments.
this beach belle is Willow sun tanning and she has been illustrated by the very talented Elisabeth Bell.
i have been let loose with my airbrushing system to achieve the sand and the sky… for the sand i used the brush end to spray. so that it gave the spotty effect.
i can also combine my card with the brand new
wild orchid challenge
where the theme is say it with flowers…

Can't believe that it has taken me all day to make this card....whats going on!!

hiya, not sure what is going on here lately.. no time to tie a shoe lace… hehe. i was determined that i would get a card made today.. so in-between tooing and froing all day i have done it.. Yay.. and double yay as Aaron is now home safe and sound….. nice to have all my family back under one roof… even if it is only for a little while…
anyway… my card.. i have made for the Just Magnolia challenge blog...where the challenge is a recipe.. of three flowers, two papers and one ribbon.. why not join in ..the girlie’s have made some fabulous example cards to inspire you… be sure to check them out.. :))
This is one of my newer un inked images from magnolia, i still have a few doubles of these that i need to sort out and get on here for  candy…. i’ll prob do that when i get back off of our holidays…

What is it with kids… scrub that… young adults… Aaron has just driven for 9 hours solid and has just gone back out the door to meet up with one of his friends….!!! it’s nearly midnight… i must be getting old.. im off to bed as he is out the door… lol.

Busy Busy Busy

Hello… (:
first of all i want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful comments that was left on my last post.. wow i was blown away.. thank you so much… mwah..xx and secondly to say how sorry i am that i havn’t been leaving comments ):…. i will eventually get my act together i hope and will once again be back on track..
I am getting a little excited at the moment.. my eldest son will soon be home on leave…(hopefully Friday, maybe Saturday)  Yay i (we) have missed him so much and can’t wait till he gets home.. so i can squish him, i know that i am going to well up.. I am now just thinking about it…. i am dreading his drive down from Scotland…. the last time was when he had an accident and his car was written off…. but the weather is kinder at the moment.. no snow.. and hopefully he is wiser!!!!!
sadly after one week into his leave we will be going away… so he will be home alone… hope he doesn’t throw any parties while we are gone!!!!!….mmmmmm.
i am going to be cooking and making meals up to freeze for him while we are away… just incase… (: got to look after my boy…lol.. besides he has already given me a list of things that he would like… including a cheesecake made and some cupcakes… plus beers in the fridge…
any how… i have coloured yet another of the Kenny k images lol…and made a card following the sketch given over at

This one is called Develish Donna,
i can’t actually see this on the site when you first go on there??? i bought her when i was going through the final stages of checkout.. and it comes up with other images that you may be interested in.. well she was amongst those images along with another one that i bought.. ???
can’t say that i am overly pleased with the way that i coloured her hair.. not sure where i went wrong on this one..  I find black hair really difficult… **shrugs** put it down to a learning curve, you win some you loose some..

good morning... another Kenny K card from me today... i think that i have a bit of an obsession with them.. (:

be it is the toner that the printer uses i am not sure…
for a change i added some embossing powder to the edges of my card and heat set it. i think that it gives a lovely look… and dries quicker than the crackle paints that i have used in the past.. me being ever impatient.. lol..
anyway shut up Rach and post a piccie of the card.. (haha now i am even talking to myself… cuckoo!)
