Hello… what is it with the title.. ?? well i so desperately want to make a cas card… clean and simple.. and i really really really struggle with these, so this is as simple as it gets.. one step at a time.. lol..
The image is a Kenny K digital download. and the paper is … kraft paper.. i had to add the ribbon and the punched corner.. couldn’t be helped.. hehehe.. the sentiment is by stampin up.

hiya girls, just read a few of the comments about wanting to know where i get the kraft paper from… I bought mine from a craft shop called paperarts.. I have looked on there but can’t find it anywhere!!! sorry..  I did buy mine an age ago now and am only just starting to use it.. . xxxxxx

A card that i had forgotten to post.

morning to you.. I have a card today that i had forgotten to post on here.. I used an image from Karen’s doodles.. i bought a box set of these images a while ago but have only just gotten round to inking them up.. i really must go through my stamps and not buy anymore until every last one has been inked up.. can’t see that working somehow, with all the fabby new stamps and images that keep being released.. just can’t keep up with it all.

This little tiger floating away with his balloons is so sweet, Paul my hubby loves this one :)
the papers which i used are by scenic route paper co, and are carnival stripes and random words on white. I wouldn’t know if this design is still available as these have been lurking in my draw for about 2years… lol.. another thing i must do… STOP buying paper!! hehe..
The die cut stars are from a sizzix primative star die …have a fabulous birthday is a stampin all day sentiment.. other than the bit of raffia ribbon that is it..

and here are the colours that i used.. again i had deleted this picture off of my computer!! think that i have left my brain somewhere.. lol….
The image has been stamped on Neenah classic crest  solar white card.. (from the hobby house.. link in my side bar to the left) using memento black ink..

Birthday boy Hanglar card..

well i had to do a male version of yesterday’s card now didn’t i.. lol.. couldn’t help it..

oh boy i thought that i had lost this picture of the copics that i had used.. … how can you loose a photo?????.. well it’s a good job that i had a copy on my photobucket account… phew!! I am guessing that i must have deleted it by accident..
image stamped using memento ink onto neenah card stock, ( neenah is available from the hobby house)

well here is the finished easel card.. :) papers used are Tim Holtz vintage shabby.. the swirls on the card have been created using a magnolia doohickey die , the chain is Tim Holtz and the tag is making memories… i just sanded it a bit to make it look roughed up..

Hanglar Birthday card.

:) hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend so far.. I have a girlie hanglar birthday card to share with you today.

using my usual copic sketch markers to colour with a touch of prisma pencil.

I decided to make this into a Easel card, just for a change.. the sentiment along the bottom says may all your dreams come true.. i have used papers from little yellow bicycle.. again i am not sure of the range… sorry.
I have used flowers and pins from my stash, which i have spritzed with my copic airbrush system…
The bling is just bits that i have cut from a huge swirl that i have.. i just cut off portions that i need as some of these swirls are so large .

and here is a pic of the little tag that i add to my cards .. somewhere for a message to be written to the recipient..
this along with some other cards will be up for sale on Ebay tomorrow at around 6pm…

Kenny K Challenge.. Make it Christmas

I haven’t entered a challenge blog for goodness knows how long… i wasn’t intentionally joining in this week with the
Kenny k challenge
but i made this card and it fitted in perfectly with their theme of Make it Christmas..

Coloured with copics and a small amount of black prisma pencil for added depth.

and get this i even went and made my own paper.. I used a background stamp of sheet music can’t remember the make of this stamp. well anyway i stamped in versa mark on white paper and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, after which i then added the different distress inks ..looks pretty cool, don’t you think.. ?

here is my finished card.. i didn’t want to take over too much of the paper so only added a doily.. (from the hobby house) and a rose, which i blitz to death with my copic airbrush.. it was white in a former life.. hahaha, nothing is safe in this house.. the charm is from my stash as are the little pom poms.. Naughty or nice is computer generated.. oh and i also added one of the labels dies behind my mat.. just for a bit of interest.. I think that is about it…
I have gone and bought myself a hot glue gun.. and can’t wait  to find something to  use it on.. thought that it would make my boxes a little more secure.. can see myself burning my fingers though as i am sooooo clumsy.. wish me luck….

anyone seen my mojo???

hiya all, thanks for dropping by today.. just wondered if any of you have seen my mojo on your travels around blog land..  I am fine once i sit down but the sitting down to do in the first place seems to be the hard part at the moment… may have a sort out of my craft space to rectify that i think…. or have a little spend.. nothing like a crafty shop to get the creative juices flowing.. hehe.. any excuse..

thought that i would have a swap around of picture placement.. .. This is the image that i have used on my card to show on here today. Coloured in the usual copics and with added touches of prisma pencil.. loving the added depth that you can achieve from just a tiny amount of pencil. Image is Hanglar and Stanglar.

These papers that i have used on this card are by little yellow bicycle, which range i am not sure, i have had these papers an absolute age… just coming to the end of them now.. I have layered up various flowers and punched leaves for my floral embellishment, along with a plastic embellishment from making memories (hugs and kisses) and a gem thingy from magnolia..  the centre of the flowers are just stamens that i poked through the middle of the flower, thought that it would make a change from the usual brad. The image mat is from a spellbinders die…
thought that i would share this piccie with you.. this is what i took off of my pooch!!!  Hey i had another dog and didn’t realize it.. hahahahaha.. would share a picture of what he looks like now, but he has gone all camera shy.. think that he feel a little naked!!! rofl..

Hanglar .. a merry christmas

haha not sure what happened there.. hhhuuuuhummm.. my card went and posted with no written detail.. hahaha.. must have scheduled it with out realising.. typical me..  well i have as you are reading rectified the unwritten post.. :P (your probably wondering what the heck am i waffling on about.. )

and yes i know another hanglar card.. can’t help it sorry.. hehe.

This card is currently winging it’s way to Germany.. to the lovely lady that bought it.. xxx
I have used Bo Bunny papers on this card i love these papers but sadly have i think run out now.. unless i find some hidden somewhere.. the snowflake has been made by cutting out the snowflake on acetate, on my cricut using the accent essential cart and then covering with a coating of twinklets.. 

and here is the matching inside.. i have sewn on both the front and the inside.

here are the copic colours that i have used.. i also added a little black prisma pencil and blended with sansador on the finished card.. to do my backgrounds i mask my image and then spray the background using my copic airbrush system.. i have also been asked if i use E13 for the skin, yes i do but only a little.. hope that this has answered any questions..

thought that i would share with you what my scruffy pencil case of a dog gets up too….. basking in the sun.. what a life!!! he is half the dog now as i have clipped all his hair off….(don’t like his hair really short but he hates to be brushed so ….. ) took me a total of 3.5 hours…. he doesn’t like his legs and feet done and i have to go really slowly.. he had gone through a lot in his short life before we had him…. so i can go with him on that.. bless him..

I have used some Christmas papers for this card, though they don’t look christmassy here.. the reverse of this paper has some lovely snowflakes on it.. (bo bunny .. tis the season snow flakes)
and what luck that i found the polka dot black and white ribbon in my stash.. i love it when that happens..
all the flowers that i have used on this card are from wild orchid crafts.. but the crystal stem is by Magnolia, but i am almost certain that they sell these at wild orchid crafts too.. ???
Sentiment is by cats life press stamped with stampin up really red..

Hanglar Halloween..do you like spiders?

well do you? hehe.. i have added a Martha Stewart punched spider to this card today.. well the fun i had with it before it got stuck down.. … Hollie wasn’t impressed… rofl…. so funny.. what a wicked mum i am.. haha..

The image as you can guess from my title is a hanglar.. love these sweet images, can’t seem to stop buying them.. i have two different sets waiting on my desk to be foamed up and inked… oopsie..
got to say a big thank you to my friend Sonja for giving me the heads up when these babies are on Ebay .. else i would miss half of them.. i am just too slow..

Not sure of the paper of this one, it is what i had left over from another card… i am almost certain that it is basic grey..
I punched some card with the drippy goo edge punch by Martha stewar and added it to the top of my card.. i love this punch but don’t get to use it too often.. :(.. but thinking about it i could maybe use it in the summer for any cards with ice-cream on … or if i was making a new home card… dripping paint maybe.. mmmm will have to get my thinking cap on.. if i can find it that is.. :)
for the shiny spider.. i first punched out my spider and then i simple just added a layer of the gloss-gel in graphite from viva on, making thicker areas over where the body is, to make it stand out a bit.. took awhile to dry, but i think that the end result is worth it..
The pumpkin is simply circle dies layered up and little punched out leaves added.. and the Halloween sentiment is magnolia.. … I think.. (scratching head!)

this is the inside, i have just added the plain punched spiders for this as i didn’t want to bulk it out.

here is a piccie of the copic colours that i used for this card, i also added some darker shading after i finished colouring with the copics with a black prisma pencil and blended with sansodor… love the depth that you can get by doing this…it seems to make the image pop..  i have known about this for a while now but was reminded again by both Bev and Jacqui.. so thought that i would have a go.. thanks girls for pushing me in this direction.. :)) remember if you do this yourself.. please make sure that you have finished all of your copic colouring first….. if you don’t and then use the copics on top of the pencil.. you will ruin your copic markers :(((

Sarah Kay... girl with basket of apples

good morning, :))
Well here is as promised the other sarah Kay card that i was yabbering on about yesterday.. hehe..

I have used bloom and grow papers for this card.

the decorative strip is a spellbinders die.. i just added some adhesive pearls to the flower shapes..
the flowers are a mixture of from my stash and wild orchid crafts.. I blitzed the cherry blossoms with my copic airbrush..
the lace is from bunny zoes.. love this it is so pretty. 

the inside.. I have roughed up the edges with my zutter.

I love how this dragon fly has turned out.. i cut two of the larger dragonflies(doohickeys from magnolia) and one of the small dragonflies that come in the set.. then after inking the edges i chopped off the bottom of the smaller dragon fly … layered them all together and then added some stickles and some adhesive pearls to represent the body.. looks pretty cool i think.. oh not forgetting some stamens for the antenna :)
This card has already been sold.. along with the one shown yesterday..
