Tissue box and card combo..

Good morning hope that you are all keeping warm.. brrr.
I felt like a bit of a change when i made this card and matching tissue box cover.

what no stamping… lol..
i found the tissue box cover tutorial on splitcoast stampers.

I have used my minds eye laundry line. papers on both the card and the box..

and followed the theme through with the heart and flowers.. each side of the box has the same decoration..  the heart has been cut from grunge board using a sizzix red die.. primitive hearts… i covered the grunge board first with the paper, before cutting..


a closer look at the heart and flower detail.. i have also added some stickles to the flowers.

Just for you on your special day.. lily of the Valley

Good morning all.
Hope that you have all had a fabulous weekend.  I have my hubby home so mine was the best..
He is still home today so this post is going to be short and sweet..

I have made this card after seeing the fabby sketch designed by Bev over at the lotv challenge blog. thanks honey loved working with this.

I have used a lily of the valley image for this card as well. just love these images, they are so fun to colour and so easy!!

here is a better look at the front… this is a larger card at 7x7” in size, I used self adhesive pearls.. Martha Stewart border punch and a Marianne design die.
The sentiment used is also lily of the valley. stamped onto a nestie shape.

here is what the inside looks like.. the heart has been cut using a sizzix red die.. primitive hearts and the flowers are wild orchid crafts.
I have added my usual tag for a sentiment to this card.. just tucked at the back on the fold.

The image has been coloured with copics… can’t believe that i didn’t take a picture of those this time…. my brain is all over the place.. getting closer to Christmas and i  have other things rattling around up in my brain.. lol..

Simon says stamp.. let it snow..

Brrr what a chilly morning..  was in Tesco’s at 7am and was frozen!
I have made this Christmas card using one of the sugar Nellie images from last year, he is so sweet.. I have used some scrap papers for this card which i went round with my sewing machine.

I added a couple of snowflake charms and a  pearl brad .. the pearl brad is from The hobby house .

I am just loving these circular sentiment stamps from lily of the valley  there are so many different ones and they are so versatile. I have added some flower soft under the snowman's feet to represent snow..

This image was coloured with copic sketch markers. No prisma’s this time.. I think that it takes me twice as long to colour a image in when i use the prisma’s as well.. and it takes me an age to colour at the best of times..

I have just had a mooch round and am going to enter this card into the Simon says stamp challenge. which is  “Let it Snow”

Oldie but Goldie

An oldie but Goldie image today.. i seem to be leaning towards the older sugar Nellie images at the moment.. not sure why… i do love this sweetheart of an image, isn’t she gorgeous!

This card is larger than my normal 6 x 6”  card and is 7” x 7”.... it’s surprising what a little bit extra room makes.. i was surprised..  making the card this size meant that i could use the largest of my longer rectangular spellbinder dies..  which haven’t had a lot of use since i bought them.. due to the length.  I have based this card on the Mojo Monday sketch  sketch #166……. and because i have punched the border..(which you can only just see) and used die cuts on my card it means that I can also enter this card into this weeks Papertake weekly  Cut it out!

Papers used are by Magnolia, the raffia ribbon is what i have had an age . the sentiment is from whimsy stamps .

Buttons are stampin up from Mandi Moore . doily is from the hobby house. and the corner die is a Marianne design.

While clearing out my room i found a few images that were already coloured in a folder!! so thought that i would use these up.. .

only prob is that they were sat in the sleeves with the papers.. and i don’t know either the colour of the copics that i used nor the name of the papers.. opps!
not to worry .. as i do know that these papers are my minds eye.. that the flowers are from wild orchid crafts. the butterfly is making memories and the doily are also from my stash.. corner dies are Marianne design.

Believe in fairies

this card combines one of Mo Manning’s images and one of the sentiments from lily of the valley .

I think that the two of them work brilliantly together.. this fairy is from a set of four.. all equally cute..
the papers are from nitwit collections and is from the cottage charm collection.

the flowers are wild orchid crafts and the pins and self adhesive pearls are from my stash..

I went round the edge of the mats with my sewing machine for added detail and texture

pretty glittered wing detail.

the image was printed via the printer onto Neenah classic card and then coloured with copic sketch markers and prisma pencils.

Another sweetie of a card using a Lily of the valley image.. Rosie with presents.. 

isn’t she adorable carrying her huge gifts.. they are as big as she is!!!
The sentiments are also by lily of the valley..  and are fabulous.
The papers are Nitwit collections  and are called petal pixie, another fabulous set of papers..

I have added flowers again from wild orchid crafts …except for one which has been made using the sizzix 3d flower die.. love this die..
the edges of the mats have had the sewing treatment.. and i added some tulle ribbon.. bought from craft obsessions

I even added some sweet little pom poms for the the ends of her headband.. i bought these ages ago from a local craft store.

I just loved this image .. as you can guess by now i love images that are full of character.. and this one just screamed out to me.. lol..
Super genius  is a digital image which can be purchased via Kenny k.

this card is very clean and very simple… but i really don’t think that it needs anything more.. I was going to add a sentiment but wasn’t sure what to add. as this could be used for a few occasions… congrats on a achievement…  .. a card to say that some one has had good news from the docs….

The papers that i have used for this card are from a kiddi collection.. from DCWV….it’s a good job you can’t see me as i can never remember the names of stuff so go scooting off to my  paper stacks to try and find it mid blog..  there should be a big space here… .. hahaha.. anyway.. the papers are called… nana’s kids and is from the 8x8 pad.

The star charm.. well i have had that an age, couldn’t tell you where i got it from.. this brain of mine is tired.. small and tired. hehe.. I blame having the kids.. they say that the more kids you have the more brain cells die.. .. well i have got no chance then .. i didn’t have a lot before the children.. rofl..
