GDT card for stamp something challenge blog

Good Afternoon to you,
i was asked by my friend Denise if i would like to join the girls at the stamp something challenge blog as a guest dt for two weeks. . of course i said yes… :)thank you for asking me hun..xx
The theme for this weeks challenge is Happy something and has been sponsored by Karen’s Doodles.

Well it is Fathers day in the U.K on the 20th June, so i thought that the challenge this week would give me the excuse to get one of my fathers day cards completed.. i used this fabby image by Karen’s doodles called Mr Fixit Grampa. though i have made my grandpa slightly younger looking by giving him a nice head of brown hair instead of grey.. what a versatile image. :)
Mr fixit grampa is coloured using copic sketch markers on bazzill basics paper simply smooth white..( different from my neenah, the ink seems to sit more on the top of the paper… .mmmmm verdict still out on this one.. love the way the skin tones came out though…lol) Hollie is funny, she said wow!! you used all those colours for that image!!! rofl..
and here is my finished card, i have used some wonderful papers from my minds eye.. called laundry line, love these they all have glitter on each page.. lush!!
the hammer is a quickutz die and the twine is from stash as is the screw brad.. (top left hand corner) the tiny staples are from the tim holtz stapler.. so sweet…
