getting old and confused.. that’s me.. rofl..

lili of the vally

rofl.. I have been looking for ages trying to find the copic colour list that i used for this card… doh.. i haven’t even coloured it with copics…. I think that i need help! then i was convinced that i had followed a sketch.. but no this was one of my going off on a tangent cards.. don’t ask.. rofl..

lili of the vally

anyway, hope that your weekend has started off well, I have done a little food shopping this morning .. and am just waiting for Paul’s arrival tonight from work.. Yay!!!!  I tell you don’t take teenage girls shopping with you .. i thought that i would be safe in a super market… but hey… she now has a new pair of slippers, a mahooosive rubber.. it weighs a tonne.. lol she said that she won’t loose it at school.. loose it you could knock someone out with that baby!!!) (6.5” long  x 2” wide and weighs 302grams) some hairbands, muffins popcorn facial wipes, the list goes on..  but she is smiling, got nothing for tea mind.. .rofl..

there isn’t a lot to tell about this card.. papers are tim holtz vintage shabby, i distressed the edges and then used the sewing machine.. still have to clean it.. so stitch with baited breath,, waiting for it to mess up!

the image is lotv, sentiment is inky impressions which i have stamped onto a die from sizziz.. ancient document.. it is a red die.

10

all the edges have been punched with a martha stewart border punch. I went distress mad on the inside.. hearts are quickutz cookie die’s and the heart stamp is stempleglede.

18

the lotv image has been coloured with pencils..

Thank you for dropping by .. and thank you to all of you that left me such lovely comments yesterday about my new DT position.. mwah…

Hugs Rach xx

Hi Rach

Your post made me laugh so much - which copics did you use again? ;) lol.

Beautiful card, soft colours and very tender. Love the distressed inside too - gorgeous.

Have a great weekend, and at least you will know where to find a rubber when you need one!

My 3 year old is just as bad shopping, that is why i end up on the wii fit most days to try and burn off the calories from pinching a few crisps etc off them. Glad she is happy and therefore Paul to bring takeaway in?

Do you have a tutorial somwhere on coloring hair? Seems like I remember one a few years ago when I first started blogging. The shine on the hair in this card is fantastic. "Hugs" Carol

Absolutely Gorgeus.. So soft and sweet with the vintage papers..

And if you think teenage girls are bad, try taking a 6'1" 17 year old stll growing and eating me out of house and home boy to market...

Hi Rach, well if you will take a teenager with you shopping Im not surprised you have to dig into your pocket for bits and bobs for her, and that rubber just sounds gienourmous, Im sure she will hopefully not loose it. Hope Paul has now arrived home, have a wonderful weekend with him.
Well you certainly went to town with the distressing, love what youve done with it though and your colouring as always is stunning. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxx

Hehe Rach - I am convinced that braincells go to sleep at the most strange times. I go upstairs wondering where my glasses are and they are pushed back on my head.
I don't think it's just teenage girls - if I shop alone my bill is fairly resonable and I get what I need. I take my 18 yo son shopping and I almost faint and come home with lots I DONT NEED.
But still, a fabulous card and love this image - total innocence. Stunning colours and papers.

Hugs, Mette (enjoy your weekend)

think we all get like that, I lose things in my craft room all the time, too much stuff and always a mess. I even stab myself in the leg with my craft knife rolling off the desk.
Great card, love the image and distressed design. Lili of the valley wanted circles, was that the challenge you meant?
