Always and Forever

I have a card today to show you that uses the image Faith by Sugar Nellie, A sweet sweet friend of mine sent me this stamp along with a few others, thank you hun.. xx

I am joining in with the challenge over at the sugar bowl with this card, where they have a fabulous sketch to follow.

These stamp are so sweet,

and almost take you back into a by gone era,..  I have used some T!m Holtz papers.. lost and found for this card. I edged some with my machine stitching , i have used an embossing folder on one piece of cardstock but it has kind of gotten lost behind the layers.. lol.

the seam binding is part of the Candy that i won from Bev. thank you hun, it really came in handy for this card, but.. i am going to have to get myself some in this colour now.. lol..

The flower and self adhesive pearls are also a gift from a friend.. thank you Mandi.

button and twine are from my stash.. oh and i added some paper pearls to her hat and coat.

The inside of the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

This card also has it’s own handmade box.. (I’ll try and get a tutorial done on these boxes soon.. time willing)

Good afternoon, hope that you are all well.

It is almost a week since i have posted anything here on my blog.. wow… Life is just a little busy for me at the moment.. but hopefully things will start to slow down in a few months..

Call me thick… but.

The name of this stamp that i have used today on my card, is Fairy with balloon… mmmmmm. looks more like a clown to me?! where are his wings… don’t fairy’s have wings. Maybe they are tucked behind his baggy top? he he…

Here is a card that i have made using a penny black image called, Team Teddy.

Well I have to say that for me.. someone that finds penny black very intimidating to colour.. I really enjoyed colouring this one… took me an age mind.. but i had fun..

I have made a card today that not only follows the Kenny K’s Krafty girlz challenge blog where the challenge this week is blue silver and white…. I have used Mae Western digi stamp for my card.

Hiya all, i just can’t believe that it is Tuesday already! I hope that you all have had a good weekend..
We have been having a mass clear out of our loft.. oh my word, what a lot of stuff.. well the charity shops had a load and the tip had a load too and the Loft is pretty empty..  but because of this i have had no time to make a card, so this morning i have got my rear in gear and made this quick one to share..

My card today used one of the delish LOTV images, coloured with copic markers. I was tempted to add a butterfly to the card and enter it into this weeks lilli of the valley challenge .. things with wings , but thought that would be cheating... lol.

This is an image from Prairie fairydesigns and is called pretty Gillian, isn’t she just the cutest..

I had a lot of fun colouring this image.. i used copics to colour her and then added some glossy accents to her glasses to represent the glass, some stickles on her necklace..

I have used papers by Kay & co called Que Sera Sera…  which i have ran through my distrezz it all..

I added a few quickutz gifts around the lotv sentiment..  apart from the self adhesive pearls i think that is about it.. lol..

good morning to you all,

This is my very first post as a Kenny K Krafty girl..

The theme that we have for you this week is Love You, so we would love to see your love themed creations..

For my card i have used one of the newly released l-o-v-e digis from Kenny K digi images  called Bench couple.

This is my finished card, using scraps from my paper draw, so sadly i do not know the name of the papers that i have used.. I am sure that they are from a Christmas line though.. (not much help here am I.. ) I edged the papers and image with straight stitch on my sewing machine, and added a little heart shaped brad to the lower right hand corner of my image.. these brads i have had for an absolute age.. as always bought way too many and still have them floating around now.. Ha haha..

the pennants.. Yay i know what they are called.. they are called flags to me..   well these are from a die that i bought from The cats pajamas. I have added the link to the store, but they don’t seem to have any of the pennants 005 die in stock at the moment.. (not showing on the site) You get four dies in this set. the scalloped and the straight triangle.. in two sizes, i used the smaller of the dies..

The letters that spell love are cut from quickutz dies.. not sure of the name of the dies.. another packaging that i should have kept..

Image has been coloured with copics sketch markers and the background was airbrushed. Again i don’t know the colours that i used.

Just Magnolia challenge.. anything goes.

Good morning
I have finally been able to sit and get crafty.. at long last.. I haven't had chance to join in with many challenges lately but when i saw that the
just magnolia
challenge blog was also letting  Hanglers into their challenges.. well i just couldn’t resist..
and the Challenge is anything goes.. bonus..

here is my card, i think that i got a little carried away with the flowers on the side.. can’t win with me .. I either go really minimal with my embellishments or as you can see; over the top with them.. .

This is a larger 7” x 7” card and i used my Grande nestie ovals to cut image and mat.
I founds some Kraft card stock at long last.. yay.. from the craft island.. this Kraft is by jilly bean soup.. which i have just looked and they are not showing any at the mo.. but you can buy the life stories papers.. by my minds eye and just use the back if you just want the Kraft look.. (plus you can use the patterned side as well… bonus!) just a thought..
these papers that i have used for this card are by dcwv and are called linen closet stack.. i just love these papers, they are so so pretty.. must get another book of this cardstock i think.. i bought mine from my local hobby craft.

the flowers are a mixture of wild orchid crafts and prima. i added a little love charm with love written on it… and the with sentiment has been made using a dymo ..  I found this really old one on eBay  as it has three different font wheels including an italic one… (I bought one of the newer models that you can change the heads on and include the italic writing too but the letters don’t join together as well as the old machine that i bought and look staggered which i wasn’t impressed with….. just being an old fuss pot as always…)
also tucked in the flowers you will see a metal flowery thingy with brad that are from my stash, along with some Tim Holtz film strip.. that little piece was laying on my desk so i thought that i would pop it amongst the flowers.. hehe.
The image has been coloured with a combination of copics and white and blue prisma pencil..

I decided to alter a little  Moleskine ruled cahier (journal)
to match my card.. along with it’s own box. with the addition of the magnolia do hickey die tag the papers are the same as the card..

and here is what this little set looks like all together..
