Used papers by basic grey Sugared and flowers from my stash..

not sure what is going on with my wonky pictures.. lol.  the ribbon is seam binding by hug snug.

Magical Birthday

sweet image by magnolia, I made this card a while ago now, just havn't gotten round to posting it here.. :)

not sure of the papers, they were floating so to speak, so i had to use them.. haha.. again i have used various flowers from various makes  some are wild orchid crafts and some are what i have had about 2 years.. yes i know.. but i have tonnes of flowers.. i was fixated with the things at one time..  i have tubs full of different colours and still have more packed in bags as there is no room for them..  and guess what.. i am still buying more..  think that i need help!!! rofl.. 

the swirl with the pearls is from a paper shapers punch, i used a martha stewart border punch and ran it through the crimper thingy..

Friday Sketchers.. a sketch by me.. eek.

Hiya, and happy Friday to you all. It is time for a new sketch over at the Friday sketchers challenge blog, which has been designed by myself this week..

I have gone with an easel card for this one,  using papers from first edition papers called sweet owl.

the sugar and spice sentiment is by whiff of joy and the you can’t rewind life sentiment is by inkadinkado.

the stitching around the edge is by machine and the button, twine and seam binding is from my stash.

the inside holds a removable tag for a message.

a closer look at the base detail. the butterfly is making memories.

I got in a bit of a tiff with this  gorgeous  mo manning © image,  and probably looked pretty much like she does..   all because i couldn’t get the tights the right colours, so with messing around with various colours on top of colours i don’t have any colours to share with you today..  as i put them all away without taking a note. .sorry.

Happy EAster card to share with you today,

i have used a digi image for this card from Sassy Cheryls © Papers are Tim Hotz vintage shabby.

The Easter has been cut using quickutz cookie dies, and the rabbit is also from a quickutz die.. the leaf die is a doohicky , flowers are from wild orchid crafts ,

i used a Martha Stewart punch to make the band that the easter sentiment is adhered to.. i made this band kinda raise from the card.. if you get what i mean..

not to sure where i was actually going when i made this card .. lol..

wow that is big.. rofl you can see all my mistakes now.. hehe.. I have been asked by a few people if i do classes, if i have had any copic training, via classes etc.. I thought that i would answer here and  the answer is no,  i have not attended any copic classes, art classes etc…I am so much of a chicken it is scary.. all my colouring has been self taught. and i still have a lot to learn..  I don’t hold classes i would be a bumbling mess if i did..For me  it is just a case of practice,.... work out where you want your light source to come from and go from there.. work out what works best for you as whether you prefer to start with your darkest colours first or if you would rather start with your lightest colours first.. there is no right and wrong way.. it is what suits you best.. i colour with the lightest first through to the darkest colour, then i even go back in again for depth.. and then finish off with pencils if need be..  that is all i do.. and seriously if i can do it any one can do it.    but most of all, just have fun..

Fizzy moon..

I have another fizzy moon card to share today..

this time fizzy is coloured with copics, the papers are from the fizzy moon range of papers. flowers are from my stash and the sentiment is whimsy stamps, which has been cut using one of whimsy’s dies..

The inside compliments the front, oh and the swirls are a doohicky die.

I also added some self adhesive gems on the flowers and the sentiment stamp.
