Good morning, hope that you are well… i have a sweetie of a card to share with you today using a gorgeous digital image illustrated by Mo Manning, called birthday fairy Dee. she is available to buy via Mo’s digital pencil shop.
I haven’t coloured one of Mo’s images in in a while and i really enjoyed colouring this one.. i have teamed her up with some basic grey papers and some purple buttons and ribbon from my stash.. I actually started making this weeks ago, i followed a sketch that was on the sketch Saturday blog… but hay you guessed it i missed the challenge closing date by miles!! ah well never mind.. i still had fun making it, which is what it is all about isn’t it???
as well as the buttons and ribbon i also added some flowers from wild orchid crafts, some gem thingy’s on a wire.. these were magnolia ones, but i know that there are similar ones all over the place.. at a fraction of the cost.. . the punched edge along the side of the image’s mat is a Martha Stewart border punch, again this is bought in most stores, i bought mine off of eBay a long time ago. I went around the image and the mat with my sewing machine.
after printing this sweetie onto Neenah classic solar white cardstock i coloured her in with copic sketch markers… sadly i have deleted the picture of the copic markers that i had on my camera….. along with a few other marker pictures i am afraid.. sorry …. and added some stickles glitter to her wings and the little hearts on the cupcake… don’t you just love her full belly.. hehe.. too cute.
Thank you for dropping by today,
This card will shortly be on my eBay site .
big hugs Rach xxxxxx
